An evening to celebrate the launch of The Cooking Rooms in York.

Enjoy champagne on arrival and then be entertained by chef Nigel Brown with a series of demonstrations packed with lots of hints, tips, fun and laughter as he cooks, creates and talks about his experiences.

During the evening you will have the opportunity to sample some great foods prepared by Nigel. This will be a great evening out not to be missed and you will leave with a "party bag".

Welcome to York’s new cooking experience Opening October 2009!

The Cooking Rooms offers a range of food and drink experiences for all ages and abilities. We run classes that will appeal to absolute beginners as well as classes for enthusiastic amateurs looking to develop their skills in the kitchen.

The Cooking Rooms is available for team building days, private parties, children’s parties and hen parties. Our purpose-built premises combine a teaching kitchen with a flexible space we use for demonstrations, tastings, parties and classes for younger children.

We work with a panel of experienced, local chefs and instructors who are enthusiastic about food and love nothing more than to share their knowledge and expertise.

The Cooking Rooms is a member of the Yorkshire & Humber Regional Food Group and wherever possible we use ingredients sourced locally in the Yorkshire & Humber region.
